• Sad-izahm In Da Hiz-ouse..

  
  

  I've given this a few days to sink in, making sure I'm not just *reacting*... even if I'm not reacting the way I thought I would, I still want to avoid a knee-jerk reaction to all this.

  
  

  First. Is it just me, or does the hypocrisy of this situation fall in the same catagory as the baby-shakers who rush thier victims to the ER or an arsonist who just happens to volunteer as a local fireman?

  
  

  Second. 'Supporting The Troops' does NOT mean I can't disagree on the whole or in part with what they've been asked to do. I've already sent several care packages to our troops, even though I've been a bit mistrustful of the people who've asked them to make this kind of sacrifice....they are, make no mistake, paying a dear price for this operation every day.

  
  

  Keeping those two things in mind...I'm glad he's been found, but I'd very much enjoy it if , as a country, we'd just quick patting ourselves on the fucking back!
